A Founders Space Roundtable is a monthly meeting where founders get together to share knowledge, solve problems and make connections. Each Roundtable tackles a specific subject, such as raising capital, negotiating term sheets, attracting talent, creating marketing plans, and filing patents.  The session begins with industry experts providing detailed advice.  Then we roll up our sleeves, gather into small groups, and help each other with issues we’re facing.

SPEAKERS

Roger Royse is the founder of Royse Law Firm, PC, a business and tax law firm with offices in Northern and Southern California (www.rroyselaw.com).  Roger practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, domestic and international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and fund formation.  His clients include emerging and middle-market companies and high net worth individuals.  Roger has represented companies in a variety of industries, including clean tech, internet, life sciences, entertainment and new media, sports, real estate, retail and mobile devices and applications.

Howard Lim, of HOW Creative^® is founder of one of the most successful branding firms in Los Angeles. He has been building Authentic Brands^® for more than two decades. He supports and empowers businesses to create products and services into fully developed Authentic Brand identities that inspire companies to reach their ultimate success. He has transformed the brands of emerging and leading Fortune 100 companies such as DreamWorks, Mattel, Xerox, Fujitsu and Honda, influencing billions of dollars in clients’ profits, brand value and equity.

Ed Fu of Rustic Canyon Partners, an early stage venture capital firm, works with seed and early stage consumer web and clean technology companies.  Prior to joining Rustic Canyon in 2010, Ed was an investor at Technology Crossover Ventures, where he focused on investments in the Internet and software sectors.  Before TCV, Ed worked at Jefferies & Company, where he advised technology startups, helping several grow from single digit revenue companies to successful publicly listed industry leaders.

Linh Ho is the Principal at Ideation Agency, a full-service marketing and branding agency based in Los Angeles. She is a marketing and public relations veteran who has worked with major consumer and b-to-b brands including Tele Atlas B.V. (now acquired by Tom Tom), BMW North America and Credit Report.com. She has leveraged her executive experience at McCann Worldwide, Kleber & Associates and Mastermind Marketing to take the helm at Ideation Agency in 2009 as one of its Principals. Ideation works with a range of global brands to develop strategic marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness and advocacy. Linh challenges clients to 'Rethink Their Brand' and works with them in each step of their brand evolution.
